Suspects identified in Kamloops triple stabbing

Two suspects have been identified in a triple stabbing this week in Kamloops, and one of the suspects has been arrested.

After looking to the public for help, Kamloops RCMP identified both a woman and a man who are suspected to be involved in a Saturday assault in a Sydney Avenue parking lot, according to an RCMP news release issued today. March 17.

“A woman was arrested and released with conditions, pending the investigation’s conclusion and subsequent charge recommendation approval process," Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Const. Crystal Evelyn said in the release.

Police were called to parking lot outside of a North Kamloops pub around 12:20 a.m., March 12.

Three people were taken to hospital after two women and a man who tried to break up the fight ended up with stab wounds.

The female suspect left with a man in a white truck.

Police have not identified the two suspects, but encourage anyone with information about the incident to continue to reach out to the detachment by calling 250-828-3000 and referencing file number 2022-7806.
