Graham Hugill knew he wasn't the only British Columbian feeling annoyed by the province's new red tape on used car sales.

Over 8,600 people had signed the petition by the time of publication with a goal of 10,000.

On Oct. 1, the province started charging PST on used vehicles based on the value listed in the Canadian Black Book valuation guide instead of the actual price paid.
