RCMP have closed a major road in Kamloops following a serious crash this afternoon.
Few details are available, but police say in a media release issued today, May 11, the closure of Highland Road in both directions is due to a "serious motor vehicle incident."
First responders are on the scene and RCMP are asking the public to avoid the area.
The road is the main artery connecting the Juniper Ridge neighbourhood to Valleyview.
Police have not said how many vehicles are involved nor where on Highland Drive the collision happened.
