The iconic Helmcken Falls in Wells Gray Provincial Park near Clearwater draws viewers, photographers and outdoor enthusiasts from around the world. The fourth highest waterfall in the country, Helmcken Falls plunges 141 metres into a canyon below and is a jaw dropping site to see — and hear — at any time of the year. Some adventurers snap photos of the thundering cascade from a viewing platform, while others follow a trail that leads to the point where the Murtle River plunges over. Still others take photos from behind the falls. Talented photographers in the Okanagan and Kamloops area provided photos that showcase the stunning Helmcken Falls through the seasons across 2023.  For top news stories, quotes, comments and photos, subscribe to the iNFOnews newsletter here.  https://infotel.ca/newsletter To contact a reporter for this story, email Shannon Ainslie mailto:sainslie@infonews.ca  or call 250-819-6089 or email the editor mailto:news@infonews.ca .
