iN VIDEO: Pair of eagles in Penticton appear to have a conversation

Penticton resident Courtney Robinson heard a pair of eagles that appeared to be having a squabble on a tree branch over Skaha Lake earlier this week. “I’m thinking they were husband and wife and sounded like they were having a fight,” she said. “They were definitely communicating.” Originally from Ontario, Robinson has been living in Penticton for over a decade and is so in love with the wildlife and landscapes in the area, every day she takes her camera out it feels like her first day here. “I go out alone and it’s very peaceful, it’s very mind calming,” she said. “I love the hills and mountains and the lakes. I wake up and want to go on an adventure, I love the Okanagan.”  Robinson spotted the pair of eagles early in the morning on Feb. 16 near the Dragon Boat Restaurant where she said many of them gather. At first, she took a photo of them and then took a video to capture the sounds they were making.
