A Kamloops pub’s decision to rename a few of its drinks after Russia invaded Ukraine is getting positive feedback.
Duffy’s Neighbourhood Pub announced Feb. 27 on its Facebook page that it changed the name of its "razzberrry Moscow mule" to a "razzberry Kyiv mule," after Ukraine’s capital and from black and white Russians to black and white Ukrainians
Bartender Ryanne Calver said it was originally the owner’s idea and the Kyiv mule has been a hit.
“They’ve just been super popular,” she said, adding she’s made 15 in the last day.
“I think they just support it, that’s why they’re ordering them,” she said. “I think the sign makes them giggle."
People have also been enjoying them as the spring brings warmer weather, she said.
Russia invaded Ukraine Feb. 24, prompting an international response. Canada has placed sanctions on Russia following the attack.

Some Canadian liquor stores, including the B.C. Liquor Store, has also removed Russian products from their shelves in protest.
