Kamloops RCMP looking for persons of interest in business assault
The Kamloops RCMP is searching for two people of interest wanted in connection to a recent assault. On Nov. 28, officers were called to a business on Victoria Street where they found an injured man, according to an RCMP media release. RCMP don't identity the business. The victim told police a man was in an altercation in the business when an employee asked him to leave. The man reportedly pulled out something sharp then attacked and threatened the employee. “Since the initial response, police have acquired security images featuring two people of interest: a man and a woman who officers would like to identify to help further the investigation,” Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn said in the release. “The pair may have left in a dark sedan.” The victim was taken to the hospital and his injuries were non-life-threatening. The attacker is described as a Caucasian man with a dark complexion, 6’3” tall with dark hair and a bushy beard. Anyone who may have information that can help identify the man or the woman is asked to contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2023-42116.
