The body of a missing 23-year-old West Kelowna man was found over the weekend. Lucas Singer-Kraus was found dead in the 1000 block of Bear Creek Road on Saturday, Feb. 10, according a press release from RCMP.   Singer-Kraus went missing after leaving his home in West Kelowna on Jan. 31. The community banded together during the search, which included members from Central Okanagan and Penticton Search and Rescue, along with members of community. "The West Kelowna RCMP sends our condolences to the family and thanks the several members of the public for their assistance in trying to locate Mr. Singer-Kraus," RCMP said in the release. Police say there are no signs of criminality and have handed the case over to the BC Coroner Service.  Family spokesperson Bexx Salvidar said in a post of Facebook they have asked for privacy during this time. “Let us come together as a community to honour the memory of Lucas and support his family as they navigate this heartbreaking loss,” Salvidar wrote in the post.
