RCMP ask for help to find missing Kelowna man
Kelowna RCMP are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 23-year-old man. Ketan Sharma was last heard from on March 1, according to an RCMP media release issued today, April 4. Sharma spoke with a friend on March 1 and said he was going to visit a family member in Surrey. RCMP have since learned he was in the Fort Nelson area, March 1 and 2. Sharma doesn’t have a vehicle and any known associates in northern BC, RCMP said. He may be looking for labour work. His family and friends say his behaviour is very uncharacteristic. RCMP describe Sharma as a 23-year-old South Asian male, 5’10” tall and 145 lb. He’s balding, has a dark beard and wears glasses. If you know the whereabouts of the missing person, or have had any contact with him, contact Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300 and reference the file number 2024-12655.
