Four people, the youngest two who were both 15 years old at the time, have been charged with the murder of Taig Savage who was found badly beaten outside of Penticton Secondary School three years ago.
Isaac Hayes Jack, who was 18 at the time, along with three others who were youths in September 2021 so cannot be named, have all been charged with the second-degree murder of Savage.
Jack, now 21, was 18 years old when he allegedly killed Savage, another suspect was 17 years old, and the other two were 15 years old.
Savage was 22 years old when he was found unresponsive in a school field

near Penticton Secondary at about 6 a.m. Sept. 5, 2021. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Weeks after her son's death, Savage's mother Tracey Savage, told iNFOnews.ca that Taig

had told his dad at about 2 a.m. to wake him up for work that day. When the couple didn't see him, they assumed he left early to work for his job at a local construction company.
It was only when Taig's boss called asking where he was they realized something was wrong.
At the time Tracey said Taig she didn't understand why her son was out of the house at that time, still in his pyjamas and without his dog.
Penticton RCMP said at the time that the killing was not a random act. Earlier this year, Penticton RCMP

announced that four people had been arrested, three of them youths.
Jack, and two others are in custody, were scheduled for a bail hearing, Sept. 19, at the Penticton courthouse.
He's next scheduled to appear in court in early October.
