Valuable signed memorabilia found in Kelowna storage locker; RCMP looking for owner

Police in Kelowna picked up autographed memorabilia from a storage locker and are now looking for the rightful owner.

Kelowna RCMP were called to a "suspicious circumstance" on March 6 to a storage locker on Enterprise Way, according to a Kelowna RCMP news release.

Police suspect property put in the storage locker was stolen in a residential break and enter, or at a restaurant or sports bar, RCMP spokesperson, Const. Mike Della-Paolera, said in the release.

Police seized three framed items from the storage unit on the 2000-block of Enterprise Way, including an autographed Guy Lafleur Montreal Canadiens jersey, an autographed Bill Wyman Rolling Stones jean jacket, and a print of Jean Beliveau and Phil Esposito at the Boston Bruins centre ice.

“There is no record of these items being reported to police as stolen so we are hoping by releasing photos of these items, the rightful owner will come forward," Della-Paolera said.
