Complaint results in man giving pellet guns, brass knuckles to Kamloops RCMP

Kamloops RCMP officers seized pellet guns and brass knuckles from a vehicle after they received reports of a man holding a gun in a resident's front yard.

Police officers responded to a call in the 1900-block of Tranquille Road around 12:30 p.m. on March 6, according to an RCMP press release.

Residents of the Kamloops home called the RCMP to report a man, who they knew, was carrying a gun in their front yard.

The RCMP located and arrested a man who turned out to be unarmed, however they found three pellet guns and brass knuckles in his vehicle.

The man relinquished the weapons to police for destruction and was later released without process, according to the RCMP.
