While cold temperatures and snow appear to be delayed in the valley bottoms so far this winter, there are some photographers finding icy winter scenery in a few places around Kamloops and the Okanagan, and ice formations in the higher elevations. Some intricate patterns can be seen on mountain lake surfaces in photos captured by drones, while other interesting ice formations are found on local hiking trails.   As we wait for significant snow in the valley bottoms, have a look at these images from photographers who ventured into the higher elevations. If you have any interesting snow and ice photos we'd be happy to share them with our readers.
