Man dead after stabbing in Kelowna: RCMP

One man is dead and another is in custody after a stabbing in Kelowna last night.

Police responded to multiple 911 calls at 8:45 p.m. yesterday, April 25, about a man who was injured at the corner of Highway 97 and Gordon Drive, according to an RCMP press release.

Officers arrived to find a 38-year-old man who was suffering with injuries consistent with stab wounds. He was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

A 22-year-old man who was arrested at the scene is currently in police custody. The investigation is ongoing.

Police say more information will be released when it becomes available.
