Murder investigation leads to charges and an arrest in Kelowna
The Vancouver Police Department arrested a murder suspect in Kelowna on Friday. Police arrested and charged Lloyd Peter Robinson, 40, for the second-degree murder of Jonathan James Bulloch, according to a press release from VPD.  Bulloch was stabbed around 10 p.m. on May 27, 2023. The stabbing took place after an altercation near the intersection of Davie Street and Bute Street in Vancouver. Bulloch died after being taken to hospital. Police spent more than eight months investigating the murder. After gathering and analyzing evidence they arrested Robinson at a house in the Glenmore neighbourhood in Kelowna. The arrest was a coordinated effort involving the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit, Kelowna RCMP, Southeast District Emergency Response Team, and RCMP’s Federal Serious Organized Crime division. Robinson is currently in custody facing charges for the murder.
