Highway 33 is now open in both directions following a collision near Kelowna early this morning. There was a collision involving multiple vehicles on Highway 33 between Peregrine Road and Philpot Road around 1 a.m. on Feb. 10, according to a press release from RCMP. The road was closed in both directions until around 10:30 a.m. this morning.  Police are investigating the incident but have not said whether anyone was injured in the crash.  “Due to the severity of this collision and the on-going investigation, the RCMP are advising that Highway 33 has been closed in both directions until this part of the investigation has been concluded,” Const. Mike Della-Paolera said in the release. The highway is open but there are crews still working, drivers are asked to slow down and watch for equipment.  Check DriveBC https://www.drivebc.ca/#mapView&z=15&ll=49.866264%2C-119.171279&xtg=Southern%20Interior%20Region for updates.
